L iving the Christians life is as easy as drinking a cup of water. Every thing is hard until you know how to do it.

IF YOU ARE AWARE THAT THE THINGS THAT GOD TELL US TO DO ACTUALLY BENEFIT US WHEN WE OBEY, WHAT HE TOLD US TO DO WILL NOT A PROBLEM TO OBEY.

Job 22:1-AV Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said, Job 22:2-AV Can a man be profitable unto God, as he that is wise may be profitable unto himself? Job 22:3-AV [Is it] any pleasure to the Almighty, that thou art righteous? or [is it] gain [to him], that thou makest thy ways perfect?

THE DIFFERENT BETWEEN THE HAVE THE HAVE NOT, THE DEFEATED AND THOSE WHO LIVE IN VICTORY, IS KNOWLEDGE:

Proverbs 24:4-AV And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.

Proverbs 11:9-AV An hypocrite with [his] mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE THINGS THAT CAUSES CHRISTIANS TO STOP PRACTICING THEIR FAITH?

Other false or half Christians religions which confuses them into backsliding, this could have been avoided if the Christians did spent time to learn the scriptures. Fall prey to bad marriage, this could have been avoided if the Christians did spent time to learn how to hear from the Holy Spirit before making decisions. When we get save, we must learn to come in line with God's way of thinking before we make any big decisions that can affect us down the road. After getting converted to Christianity, the new believer will need sight, insight and foresight. The church is not a bed of roses with all smiling faces people who are getting into spirit.

CHURCH SHOCK IS THE FIRST LINE OF STUMBLING BLOCKS A NEWLY CONVERTED PERSON WILL FACE:

Every thing bad and good go on in church just like in the world of sinners, some trying to get you saved and some trying to get you to abandon the faith. Some remained right in the church and actually rejoices when others backslided.

THE HOUSE OF GOD IS IN MOST CASES A DREADFUL PLACE:

Genesis 28:16-17 (KJV) And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the Lord is in this place; and I knew it not. [17] And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.

Romans 1:18 (KJV) For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

THINGS THAT CAUSES PEOPLE TO BACKSLIDED:

(1) Over righteousness, and a self righteous mentality. Eccles. 7:16-17 (KJV) Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself? [17] Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time?

Cults draw them away from the faith.

2 Tim. 2:17-18 (KJV) And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; [18] Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. )( Because they do not have the word and know how to deal with those cults.

CHURCH BULL DOGS:

Romans 14:13 (KJV) Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

As I say before, the church is loaded down with both evil and good people. The evil ones have a way to beat upon newly converted people, and if you do not stop them early in the process, it will never stop. Then they will uses the scriptures to justified them doing it, and trying to keep you quiet, by saying the scriptures say you must suffer. One of my fellow student been beating upon me from the first day in our air conditions school, finally, I told him to clime down now. You been riding me from day one, You also get others to join you in your attacks upon me. Stop now" He reply I think you was a minister of religion" People has wrong concept of who and what a Christians suppose to be and you have to set the record straight. You have no right to dung in my face" I will not let you" He mention fight. If you fight me and win, you must also prepare to win all fazed of the war. Psalm 125:3 (KJV) For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

If God do not help me with you, I will help my self. It is important that you know, that God do not give anybody the mandate over his people to rape, torture, put them out of jobs, defame, and cast mud on your name, simple because you are Christians.

LET NO MAN DESPISE YOU:

"Church bull dogs" Are old long time members who are afraid of new zealous Christians. These beat upon the new converts, and cause them to leave the church. The beating is done by making little unkind remarks. In their public prayers, testimonies, exhortation, and causal greeting.

FALL PREY TO BAD MARRIAGE.

Here I give a list of some to the things that causes people to backslided, but we will only deal with a few of the things. One of the things is bad marriage or mis-matched marriage, with another believer. You have to wait upon God until he give you sight, insight and foresight, before you begin to seek a mate. When you became a child of God you have been brought into a new life, a new world, where the rules are different. You cannot get in love because the person has long hair, good looking butt, and pretty face. Fall in love does not work for the born again people. We can fall in love with a monkey if we spent enough time around them. Falling in love with a car does not mean that the engine is good. Church is a second chance for some people after they burnt themselves out in every motel in town. You must remember that a Christians cannot run around from bed to bed, in our part of the world you are only allow one wife and one husband. Some of these people do not even have a sex drive. You mention the word sex and they call you a nasty dog.

Satan uses the Church as dumping ground. People who has no sex drive, come in and get themselves married off to studs, and tied up their lives.

LIST IF THE REASONS WHY CHRISTIANS BACKSLIDED CONTINUE:

(4) Demons possessions. (5) Unpreparedness for the financial stress. Therefore, they fall prey to hard time. (6) Pastors Using the Book of Malachi to beat upon the members. “Ye are curse with a curse” That is the very reason why the people do not give the money. Church people are like women who do not want to have sex, the more you bother them is th longer it take you to get into their pants. However, if you are there for them, and they consider you an asset, they feel happy to help you out. If my member sick I pick up an offering for the sick family, death, hospitalization, going off to collage, are if a member fall into hard time.

Philip. 4:3 (KJV) And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.)( The scripture here is talking about financial help. One lady I know who backslided, told me it happen out of needs.

Wait too long to get married, or married too soon.

The Church that have married people. The married people must council the new converts to begin to make preparation for marriage. Like learning a trade, getting a job, updating a trade, or starting a small business. Young women coming up in your church, you must encourage them to find a husband in the church. Stop playing around with the brothers, picking and refusing until they pick ticks. (8) People backslided because they did not put on Christ. (9) Did not put on bowels of mercy. (10) Did not add to their faith. (11) Falling prey to hard times.

LOVING THIS PRESENT WORLD:

WHAT DID THE BIBLE SAY WE MUST DO.

By putting yourself in line with God's way of thinking, then the Holy Spirit will open your eyes and give you sight, insight and foresight. without sight insight and foresight you will not be able to distinguish between the six groups of people in the church.

THERE ARE SOME SIX GROUPS OF PEOPLE IN THE CHURCH ALL PRETENDING TO BE SAVE:

Falling into a bad marriage can ruin your whole life. Many people came to the church with baggage. The church is a second chances to many people, but many of us logged ourselves down with baggage. We start relationship base on lies, which render it useless from the start. The only way you can be sure what you are walking into is if you hooked yourself up with the spirit of God early in you Christians walk, before you do any things else.

LEARN TO HEAR FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT BEFORE GO SEEKING A SPOUSE:

John 16:13-AV Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

In the above verses we learned that the Holy Spirit came to show us things to come. He enable us to look into the further and see down the road. He gave us sights, insight and foresight.

John 14:26-AV But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

The holy spirit came to teach us all things and brings back the scriptures to our remembrance.

John 15:26-AV But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

John 16:7-AV Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

Isaiah 30:21-AV And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This [is] the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

1Corinthians 2:12-AV Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

YOU WILL NEED TO PURGE YOUR LIFE:

2 Tim. 2:21 (KJV) If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

If you do not purge out old corruptions out of your life, it will spring up and ruin your new life. This is what happen to many backsliders.

Hebrews 12:15 (KJV) Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

Exodus 18:21-22 (KJV) Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens: [22] And let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for thyself, and they shall bear the burden with thee.

God will never use a covetous Christians, because these put to death anybody that have better qualities than what they think they have.

2 Tim. 3:3 (KJV) Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

SECOND HATE PLANTERS:

These people has a way to pass on their feelings of dislikes to others so they feel the same way about you as they do. They know how to drummed up a support and can get anybody to hate those who are zealous and talented. These will sell you for a burger. Do not underestimate these moon faced kind of people. They can turn the whole community against you base on the fact that you have pretty pair of shoe that you bought at the Salvation army store for $2. I had one guy keep complaining about I am working in good pants "coming in here all dressed up" I bought the old ware and left geans pants at the salvation army store for $5. That is what he hated me for an old pear of $5 pants. I call it pup and put off pants.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO WALK IN THE SPIRIT AND LIVE IN THE SPIRIT?

Proverbs 3:28 (KJV) Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.

Romans 6:16 (KJV) Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? To walk or live in the Spirit mean to yield to the spirit. Prov 3:28. Your mind told you to spite the person, another voice tells you not to do it. The good voice that is admonishing to you to obey the scriptures is the spirit. To walk in the spirit mean to yield to that still small voice.

THE FINAL THINGS THAT CAUSE CHRISTIANS TO BACKSLIDED IS BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT OVER CAME CERTAIN SINS:

You and I over came sins figuratively, on the ground of what Christ as done for us. We can over came some sins, and some sins were left in place to keep us humble. But in a practical sense, we will not over came every sins wile living in their body. Not until we receive a glorified body like what our lord had at his resurrection, before we will finally conquer sin in a practical way.

2 Cor. 5:21 (KJV) For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

1 Peter 2:22 (KJV) Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

1 John 1:8-10 (KJV) if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. [9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. [10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

2 Cor. 12:7-9 (KJV) And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
